Indictments handed down in Planned Parenthood video case

From The Dallas Morning News:

AUSTIN–A grand jury in Harris County, tasked with investigating Planned Parenthood’s Houston affiliate following the August release of an undercover video taken inside the clinic, cleared the organization of misconduct Monday, and instead indicted the group behind the video.

Like every single other investigation launched by outraged state officials around the country, including here in Georgia, the Texas grand jury found no illegal action by Planned Parenthood or its employees. However, two of the leaders of the undercover operation carried out in Houston were charged with a felony for “tampering with a governmental record.” If convicted, they face up to 20 years in prison. (It’s still unclear, but the charge may be related to false government IDs created to help carry out the scam).

“We were called upon to investigate allegations of criminal conduct by Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast,” said Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson, a Republican appointed to her post by former Gov. Rick Perry. “As I stated at the outset of this investigation, we must go where the evidence leads us. All the evidence uncovered in the course of this investigation was presented to the grand jury. I respect their decision on this difficult case.”

David Daleiden, president of The Center for Medical Progress, which produced the video, was also charged on a misdemeanor count for violating a law “against the purchase and sale of human organs.” According to The Houston Chronicle:

“The second indictment for Daleiden suggests that the grand jury found that he went too far in trying to get Planned Parenthood to admit to selling tissue. The crime, a class A misdemeanor, is committed if a person intentionally offers to buy or offers to sell a human organ, including fetal tissue. If convicted, the maximum punishment is a year in jail.”

Oh, what a tangled web we weave….

Hillary admittedly deleted over 30,000 emails from her server.  I guess that we can count on her indictment including 30,000 charges of "tampering with governmental records"?  These guys get indicted for having a fake drivers license.  Geez

@honested @DownInAlbany @Hedley_Lammar Hillary deleted 30,000 emails.  If that's not "tampering with governmental records" what would you call it?  But, it takes an indictment for the light to go off in YOUR head?  I'm not surprised.

Hey you made the comparison.

So far, President Clinton has been indicted for like NOTHING and these scurrilous anti-Americans have gotten themselves in the hot seat in under 6 months.

Does that make the light go off in your head?

A: It Doesnt

I knew all this was BS when they released two versions of the videos. One heavily edited. Anyone intelligent with the right amount of skepticism would have seen a problem right there.

Then when the guy who made the videos wasnt called to testify but PP was the bologna meter was off the charts.

My question is ? How do people fall for this stuff ?

@InTheMiddle2 :  "Have not seen the FBI report. No way to know just yet. "

I don't know........I'm gonna take an educated guess and say even when the report comes out, you are NOT going to believe anything that it says, and you’re gonna blame the “liberal media”, or a “Dem coverup” for any facts that don’t agree with your delirium ....  a la Benghazi, a la PPA.......

So sorry for the repay but

Despite a Regal Cinema prohibition against firearms, Gallion sneaked his piece into the theater. He was, he later told police, “concerned about recent mass shootings in public places.” So concerned, in fact, that he kept his gun unholstered and tucked into his waistband.

Fifteen minutes into the movie, Gallion’s gun somehow went off, police say, striking the woman sitting in front of him.

This doesn't work.

Sitting in a chair......gun tucked into the waste band........it goes off and.....shoots somebody in front of you? No. The barrel is going to be pointing down, unless you're a complete idiot, in which case it will be pointing up.  It's simply not possible to shoot somebody in front of you.

Oh well.  I suppose if nothing else dad learned a valuable lesson about sending his 29 year old kid out for a few hours so he could fumigate the basement.

@breckenridge - "No. The barrel is going to be pointing down, unless you're a complete idiot, in which case it will be pointing up."

Hey, the reason that  the barrel was pointed up was because that lady in front of him was a real dime piece.  He was excited. u can't make this stuff up....

"A day after the nation celebrated the holiday named for his father, Martin Luther King III joined several thousand parents and children at a rally in Tallahassee to support the beleaguered Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC), the largest private school choice program in the United States."

“This is about justice," said King. "This is about righteousness. This is about freedom — the freedom to choose for your family and your child.”

The "Rally in Tally" gathered civil rights and school choice supporters to protest a lawsuit by the state's largest teacher's union, the Florida Education Association (FEA)."

Not just Ludicrous, MLK 3 and others have had enough of Democrats keeping their kids down in failing schools and they're not going to take it anymore.
