Workers are paid from the revenue of the business, as are the taxes that are ultimately withheld from their checks.

I wanted to answer this a while back but I had clean the laptop to make to run regular speed.

Here we go.

I don't do all the accounting of my company.  But I am involved in the costing of my material.

The cost is figured as price of raw material, freight, insurance, salary, my taxes, rental fee.  Might have missed a few.  (I do dealer to dealer business)  You get my drift.

@rimsky But my point still stands that the revenue which pays your salary comes from the same source that is used to pay property taxes on the building you work in.

You want positive press for Trump, the best thing you can do is lock him in a closet!!  He has by his own words and actions, destroyed himself, no press could ever do the job he has done, it is really God's miracle, the guy is so dumb!!

Bruno2
Bruno2

@Peachs I agree, he's been his own worst enemy by constantly putting his foot in his mouth and by offending people needlessly.  At the same time, the legitimate parts of his message never got a fair hearing, IMO, which is the only thing I'm frustrated by.

Rather than reporting the facts and letting people make up their own minds, journalism has become "advocacy journalism" these days, as witnessed by the concerted effort to not tell the whole story whenever a police shooting occurs.

@Bruno2 @Peachs Hitler got screwed too, and you know something I think that was a miracle too, just like Trump being so dumb he can't help himself. I think God struck him dumb and we are seeing the big fat orange magnificence of God!!!

I don't want to be like Hitler or Trump, but if God had not shown them to me, lord knows where I would be today..

@Peachs Specially when are supposed to act like grand pa and not like a 18 year old hound dog.

Even my 19 year old has better manners towards women than Trump does.

@rimsky @Peachs manners, Trump puts some goofy look on his face and calls that manners.

. someone born blind, but in my experience, most of the leeches on society are able-bodied people who simply have serious character flaws.

Great.  Let's get rid of leeches like Trump, Insurance salesmen and women, Hedge fund managers, Bank CEOs........ for starters.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@rimsky Interestingly, "leeches" to you are hard-working people who pay taxes.  "Leeches" to me are people who don't work and have numerous kids out of wedlock, then expect the rest of society to pick up the tab.

Peachs

@rimsky make people show their work, it shouldn't be a secret, you should be proud of it.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@rimsky @Bruno2 You know for sure that Trump hasn't paid any taxes in 18 years??  He claims that he has paid millions.  Even if his federal taxes were offset by losses, he certainly paid millions and millions in property taxes.

Peachs
Peachs

@Bruno2 @rimsky what is interesting to me is we have raised kids today of all races that fit your description, and many of the main "leeches" are the ones calling the others in the world "leeches", like fat white guys talking about Mexicans.

@rimsky @Bruno2 a 70 year old man with a 10 year old kid, third baby mama, and God knows how many undocumented, maybe even in Hawaii.

@Bruno2 @rimsky people who don't work and have numerous kids out of wedlock, then expect the rest of society to pick up the tab.

Like Donald rump. Right?  Multiple children, No taxes for 18 years.  Not paying vendors for their work.  Come on man.  Two can play this game.

@Bruno2 @rimsky He claims that he has paid millions.

I claim to be a Sultan of Brunei.  I bet you will believe me.  Right?

Bruno2

@rimsky @Bruno2 Who paid the property taxes on all of the buildings his company owns??

Bruno2
Bruno2

@Peachs @rimsky @Bruno2 I'm guessing that Trump never used food stamps.  Maybe you can prove me wrong.

Look, I get it that you don't like the guy, and possibly for good reasons, but why look like a fool and lie about obvious things??

Bruno2

@Peachs @Bruno2 @rimsky Let it be noted that you are the only one who interjected race into the discussion here.  There are sorry people from every race.

rimsky
rimsky

@Bruno2 @rimsky Them free loaders you talk about paid taxes even for chewing gum or chicken or veges.

BTW the property taxes which he paid came out of the customer's pocket.

From your statement looks like you have never run a business.

PS  You can ask Mr Peachs, Mr honsted, both business men how they factor in their cost of their material.  You will get an idea.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@rimsky @Bruno2 Sorry, I owned my own clinic for 20+ years.  By your logic, the taxes that workers pay similarly comes from customers as well.

@Bruno2 @rimsky Now that was pure sarcasm and moved goal post or deflection of the best kind like tiny dog does.

Bruno2

@rimsky @Bruno2 Not a bit.  Workers are paid from the revenue of the business, as are the taxes that are ultimately withheld from their checks.  How is that any different from the taxes paid by the owner??

@Bruno2 @rimsky and where do you think the money comes from?  Your one of those, " self made men", and if you disappeared the world would miss you?

@Bruno2 @rimsky @Peachs you scare monger orange man started it opening his campaign with it, but that was negativity press and he was misquoted, we didn't speak thug well enough at the time.

@Peachs @Bruno2 @rimsky I'm sure I won't be missed much when my working days are over, someone will step forward to fill the void.  At the same time, who is going to miss the leeches??  Unfortunately, someone will be right there to fill their void as well when they're gone.  SSDD

People are being whipped into a frenzy by a nihilist madman, who doesn't care what damage he does to the nation. They are going to have to be dealt with after the election. Brought to the table and their REAL concerns dealt with. Not the garbage that has motivated some of them fomented by the propaganda wing of the alt right ... the bigotry, etc.

@Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley Non of the RW wingers were b!tching and moaning when Trump was getting positive free press, say up to September of this year.

Now the press is showing Trump's flaws "suddenly they are biased".  Can't have it both ways.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@DaltonbywayofBickley @Bruno2 If you are objective in any way, I think you will acknowledge that there are few "right-wing" news sources out there, e.g. Fox news.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@rimsky @Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley Maybe you can demonstrate all of the positive publicity that Trump ever got here at the AJC.  Both Wingfield and Bookman have written slam pieces from Day 1.  Even Fox was divided re: Trump from the beginning.  Exactly who was publishing all of these "positive" stories??

DaltonbywayofBickley
DaltonbywayofBickley

@Bruno2 @rimsky @DaltonbywayofBickley They are opinion writers. Surely someone as intelligent as you knows the difference. I'm referring to the nightly news, etc. where all they were doing were reporting the things he said, without commentary, that people began to like.

That was positive for him. He gets fact checked far more often now than he did at the beginning. It gave him a nice boost.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@DaltonbywayofBickley @Bruno2 @rimsky So, simply reporting what one of the two candidates running for President said now counts as "positive press"??  In the meantime, Hillary has been all but given a free pass for all of her lies and deception.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@DaltonbywayofBickley Do you think the blatant liberal bias in the press might have anything to do with the wrath directed at them??

DaltonbywayofBickley
DaltonbywayofBickley

@Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley @rimsky The unorthodox things he said made him stand out from the other Republican contenders. That was positive for him.

You might remember the same phenomenon on the other side with a guy named Bernie Sanders.

Are you really this forgetful? Or just arguing for argument sake? Have a good one. Seriously.

Peachs
Peachs

@Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley and as a liberal I say lets go over to that FOX headquarters and torch it, but then I think nothing tells our story better than the lack of reality coming out of that place, why ruin a good thing.

Even Trump is eventually outed, lies work that way.

DaltonbywayofBickley
DaltonbywayofBickley

@Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley There's a lot of blame that can be directed at the traditional press, the ones who trade in objective reporting. But there is a whole right biased propaganda industry that feeds these folks. So, yeah, a perceived liberal bias doesn't help them, but there that right-wing propaganda mill has a bigger effect on Trump supporters I think.

Peachs

@DaltonbywayofBickley @rimsky @Bruno2 and made cable news rich, look at their published financials at the end of this year, you will see a mini economy, of what really is the God of this country.

@Bruno2 @rimsky @DaltonbywayofBickley the man saw thousands of celebrating Muslims that were not there, labels the Mexicans as a total mistake by God, and grabs someones daughter, uninvited, with his very small hands, and breaths on her with his fat orange cheeks rubbing all over her face, this done by his own small hand, and you think some positive press will wash it right off?  You are sicker than he is!!

Bruno2
Bruno2

@DaltonbywayofBickley @Bruno2 @rimsky You're the one not making any sense here, Dalton.  Should the press have ignored Trump and Sanders?? The fact that what they said stood out is to their own credit, not the credit of the press for reporting it.  You seem to have a problem with the press doing their job, which is to report news.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@Peachs @Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley

"lets go over to that FOX headquarters and torch it"

Can't handle a difference of opinion??  Seems to be a trait shared by most Libs. I think the folks over at MSNBC are silly, but I've never called for them to be shut down or squelched.

Peachs
Peachs

@DaltonbywayofBickley @Bruno2 @rimsky so you listen to Trump and come away inspired, to me, I see you being scared to death, and calling that positive, which I can't understand why you like that.

DaltonbywayofBickley
DaltonbywayofBickley

@Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley @rimsky If the press had not reported it, it would have been a tree falling in the woods. Maybe you are dumb. The press did exactly what it should have done and both Trump and Sanders benefitted from it. What I have written makes perfect sense. Your misinterpretation of what I write or inability to comprehend is your problem, not mine.

Peachs
Peachs

@Bruno2 @Peachs @DaltonbywayofBickley read, you can read can't you, and you will see that I welcome you comments, nothing demonstrates the stupidity  more than FOX, if you torch it, you bury proof that you people are crazier than words allow.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@Peachs @DaltonbywayofBickley @Bruno2 @rimsky I've never been "inspired" by Trump.  He has echoed some of my positions regarding illegal immigration, unfair trade practices and the unfair denigration of our law enforcement, but I held those opinions prior to his candidacy.

The bottom line is that you can't handle a legitimate difference of opinion, and feel the need to slime those who think differently from you.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@DaltonbywayofBickley @Bruno2 @rimsky You come across as "blaming" the press for Trump's popularity for simply dong their jobs.  What is the alternative, to only be exposed to opinions we agree with??  That would be the Lib dream, it seems.

DaltonbywayofBickley
DaltonbywayofBickley

@Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley Fox, Breitbart, Drudge, and then I invite you to peruse social media and discover hundreds of FB pages, Twitter accounts, etc. that spread a lot of outright BS that then gets spread by Trump supporters.

Peachs

@DaltonbywayofBickley @Bruno2 if we are sucker enough to believe stupid stuff they report and hide under our beds until they say it is ok to come out, we deserve to be slaves to their stupidity.

DaltonbywayofBickley
DaltonbywayofBickley

@Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley @rimsky I was stating objectively what happened. I don't blame the press for Trump's rise. It may have been unavoidable, I don't know. I think the Republican party is being damaged by him and most of them have stood by and let it happen. I'm also not a liberal. This whole little conversation started wth the assertion that the legitimate concerns of Trump supporters need to be dealt with and that remains true.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@DaltonbywayofBickley @Bruno2 @rimsky Maybe it's a revelation to you, but it's normal for the press to report what major candidates for office say.  If that resonates with some voters and they gain popularity as a result, that's to be expected.  You're basically saying the equivalent of "Water makes you wet". By stating the obvious, you make me wonder what you believe the alternative should be, to either not report what the candidates say at all or to overlay a lot of opinion on what they say.

Just what exactly are you attempting to say other than the obvious here??

Peachs
Peachs

@Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley how can you stop a suicide politician, who is determine to blow himself up?  Any positive press would be an outright lie, that he would negate with a mass 3:30 am tweet!

Trump and FOX have done more for minorities in one year than could be done with the written word in a lifetime, people didn't believe people like this still existed. Now maybe we will go back and revisit those voters' rights the Supreme Court claim we don't need to be enforced any more..

Peachs
Peachs

@Bruno2 @Peachs @DaltonbywayofBickley @rimsky not when you slander Mexicans, Muslin, and women, and scare hell out of children, and then grope them and put them in a meat market when they are grown and say that is positive!!

DaltonbywayofBickley
DaltonbywayofBickley

@Bruno2 @DaltonbywayofBickley @rimsky Say, did you notice, Bruno it's you who started the media bias conversation and now you've adopted the opposite position? I believe I was right. You are here just to argue. Well, enjoy that.

My object was to say the nation needs to deal with the legitimate concerns of Trump supporters.

Bye now.

Bruno2
Bruno2

@DaltonbywayofBickley @Bruno2 @rimsky For the record, you did state that the concerns of the voters will have to be dealt with after the election.  However, you "supported" your point by linking an article which stated that reporters feel "scared" at Trump rallies.  I followed up by asking if the blatant liberal bias in the media might be responsible for that, which led you into a complaint about alt right wing sites.  I responded by saying that they are few and far between.  From there, you went off on a tangent and repeated the obvious, that media exposure helped make Trump familiar.

If your main point was to highlight the legitimate concerns of the Trump voters, you didn't do a very good job of it, sorry.
